Oooh la la look at this gal!
After a less than stellar racing career, Proxy found herself retired. It is now time for her to find a second job!
Proxy is a dream in the stall and has good ground manners. She will tie well and loads with ease.
Proxy will require a rider that has experience training. She is a very good girl and is very quiet but needs some fine tuning before she could be considered finished.
If you have heard the stereotypes about "chestnut Thoroughbred mares", you know they can be a handful. Proxy is an exception to the rule and is friendly, willing, and laid back.
If you look at this mare's knee, you can see that it is larger than the other. We have had three (yep... THREE) different vets give their opinion and they all came to the same conclusion... that it "is what it is" at this point. The good news is that it does not bother her! Proxy can still be ridden and is sound. To ensure her soundness for years to come, we are asking that she does not go to a home where a high-impact discipline will be her job... no barrel racing or jumping, please!
