Quarter Horse Thoroughbred
Boom is a been there, done that type of horse. He has the best personality in the barn, following you everywhere for love and cookies!
Boom stands well for the vet, is a little wiggly at times for the farrier (nothing a "now you listen here, Mister" won't solve), and is great loading up on a trailer.
Boom is very patient with the unsure rider, and his confidence when it comes to obstacles or spooky objects is a lovely characteristic! As with all of our beginner horses, we still require that the rider is taking lessons to keep our horses happy and safe!
Boom is a lovely gelding who is quiet and safe. He requires a little more than average hay to feel his best, so may be best for the owner who is used to feeding the senior horse! Boom is not one that will do well just turned out on a round bale.
