Missouri Fox Trotter
Granola is broke to ride and has adjusted well here on the farm since her arrival. She is healthy, sound, and gorgeous! Granola is shy at first but quickly comes around with a granola bar or some cookies. She wasn’t treated very well before we got her so sudden moves from strange people can still make her jump, though she is improving every day!
Granola is gaited and is very smooth under saddle. She responds well to your leg and hand aids and is respectful on the ground and under saddle. She will need a rider that wishes to really develop a relationship with her, as humans haven’t been so kind in the past.
UPDATE 10/31/18: Granola is doing wonderfully! She is gaining trust in people and is coming along very well under saddle. She is obedient and willing, loves interaction, and engages her handlers. She will still require a rider that is calm and confident to help her live her best life, but we are elated to see the progress that she has made so far!
UPDATE 1/2/19: Granola is a blast! We have hauled her to events and she has done great! This is a mare with lots of go and energy! Good mind, no holes in her! Adopt her and you won’t regret it!
