Thanks to an unprecedented grant from the Tortorella Family Foundation totaling $100,000, Bella Run Equine has been able to realize a dream of having a proper space for the incoming and medically needy dogs in our program. The new facility includes a treatment area, wash/laundry area, individual runs and cages, and an isolation ward. Construction began in late 2022, and we are elated to announce that it is now complete!
We are so very proud to be a part of the Tortorella Foundation’s Bear’s Angels. Bear’s Angels and its partners reflect the Tortorella Foundation’s mission that people working together, sharing talent and expertise, and learning from each other can better the world. The Tortorella Foundation supports many efforts by underwriting unique programs that promote adoptions, emergency care for abused or abandoned animals, rescue and transport from high-kill shelters and the construction of animal housing and play yards to assist rescues caring for homeless dogs and cats.
